Italian King Victor Emmanuel III asked Mussolini to form a government. From this Mussolini has taken over control and done many aspects to gain power. As a result some negative results have been encountered, but yet Mussolini has had some positive aspects. In the 1920’s Mussolini joined and had soon later become leader of the Fascist Party. The Fascist Party was an organization that promised to make Italy once more great again. This organization had the idea of terrorism and scaring others that were against it. People dressed in black, called the Black Shirts, would go around and fight to gain more power in Italy. This scared people and they were not allowed to voice their own opinions, but this was the first successful Fascist. The Black Shirts were the negative affect of Mussolini’s takeover, but with the negative effects, a positive side came out. Mussolini had rules and made the people listen. Even with the Black Shirts people started realizing that Italy needed laws. The middle class started to go towards the Fascists. Mussolini’s gain of power might be a change that Italy can handle. It may have some negative effects, but with all negative, there has to be some positive! |
